Accessibility statement

This statement applies to Meridian Leave, the internal product used by office staff to request and approve leave.

What we are aiming for

We want every member of staff to be able to use this system independently, whatever device they use and whatever assistive technology they rely on. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet had the system independently tested against that standard, so we cannot claim to meet it in full.

What we know is not working

  • On a phone, the calendar on the My Leave page cannot be scrolled to show the whole month. Only the first part of the month is reachable.
  • Some tables are wide and must be scrolled sideways on a small screen.

This list is what we currently know about. It is not a complete audit.

If something is difficult to use

If any part of this system is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us. You do not need to explain why, and you will not be asked for medical information.

Contact Yusuf Mohamed Yusuf, Compliance Officer — ymohamed@oasiscareandtraining.org.uk

We will look at what you have reported, tell you what we can do, and agree an alternative way for you to book and view your leave in the meantime if a fix will take time.

Alternatives

If you cannot use the system at any point, your leave can be requested and recorded by contacting the Compliance Officer directly. Nobody will be disadvantaged because a system was hard to use.
